The Great MMTA Get-Together

The following events have been planned for the Great MMTA Get-Together on Sept. 8.  We will keep you updated on any additional events around the state.  Each location is encouraged to do a group photo with an "I love MMTA!" poster.

Contact Kay Hawkins if you would like to add an event on Sept. 8 to celebrate MMTA.


Central Minnesota Music Teachers Association

Sat., Sept. 9, 10:00-noon – Open House at the home of Mary Kovell, 1916 Linda Ln, St. Cloud.  Local teachers who haven’t joined MMTA are invited, along with their regular membership.


MMTA Office

Fri., Sept. 8, 10:00 a.m.-2:00p.m. – Open House and refreshments for members and potential members at 10800 Lyndale Ave. S., Ste. 120, Bloomington.


North Metro Great MMTA Get-Together

Fri,, Sept, 8,10:00-12:00 – Come for a meet and greet of other local MMTA teachers. Let's share our MMTA stories and celebrate this great organization! Drinks and light refreshments will be served.  Location:  the Home of Caroline Langfeld, 12325 Edison Street NE, Blaine.763.717.4774


West Suburban Music Teachers Association

Fri., Sept. 8, 10:00-11:30 a.m. (Coffee and refreshments at 9:30) – “Color, Texture, Imagination:  Pedagogical Piano Works by Contemporary Art Composers” with presenter Dr. Ann DuHamel.  St. Barnabas Lutheran Church, 15600 Old Rockford Road, Plymouth.  Members will be encouraged to meet at the MMTA Office afterwards.
