2023 Virtual Piano Contest Preliminaries

This will be a virtual event unless otherwise announced.

Piano Contest

Students will submit a video of perform one piece from memory and receive comments from a judge.  Students selected as winners will move on to the Piano Contest Finals in March.  (Note: The Piano Contest Finals are in-person ONLY.)  Use the 2023 Materials List found below or on the Piano Programs page.  The same piece is to be played for both Preliminaries and Finals (should the student be selected to move forward to Finals.)

To be eligible for Finals, students in Intermediate A-Senior B must have passed MMTA Theory Level 2 prior to the registration deadline, December 1, 2022.
