MTNA Competitions 2022-2023 - State Level

This year's state-hosted Performance Competition will be held in-person for Piano and other instruments.  Voice students compete virtually by creating video(s) of their performance, then submit the video(s) for judging.  

• Read all MTNA competition details thoroughly.
• Registration deadline: September 14, 3 p.m. CST.  Registrations are to go through MTNA website.
• Administrative fee is $10 per student.  Fee must be paid* to MMTA prior to participation.
       *MMTA members: Complete the online registration process to pay the fees. 
  
       *Non-MMTA teachers:  Please mail a check, made out to MMTA, to: 
         MMTA, 10800 Lyndale Ave. S, Ste. 120, Bloomington, MN 55420                                        
         OR Call the MMTA Office at (952) 345-0629 with credit card information. 
              (Office Hours:   Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10am-2pm)

• Voice Students ONLY:  Video submission** deadline: November 5th, 11:59 p.m. CST.  Videos are to be submitted through the MMTA website.  Click the submission button below.

**Please note:  MTNA asks for separate videos for each piece on the program.  Also, do not send any repertoire scores for your students - judges will have access to scores as needed.
